In cooperation with the Deutsche Messe Group of Companies and eCommerce "rock star" Michael Atug, the retailing association Händlerbund is organizing a new logistics event for small and medium-sized online retailers.
Hands-on logistics for online retailers – that is the motto of the new Pick, Pack & Send event. This one-day trade fair will spotlight safe, fast and efficient packing, automatic and semi-automatic order picking, smart storage systems and sophisticated returns management, with display categories consisting of packaging materials, machines and accessories, storage technology, identification and labelling technology, software, order fulfillment and services.
"Our goal is to create a logistics trade fair geared especially to retailers who operate small or medium-sized online shops as independent entrepreneurs and who want to become more professional," explains Lisa Clausnitzer, Event Manager at the retailing association Händlerbund. The new Pick, Pack & Send represents an event tailored precisely to this target group. As the event sponsor, the Händlerbund association reaches operators of some 80,000 online presences. The debut edition takes place on 4 July at the Hannover Exhibition Center (Hall 2), on a total area of approx. 5,000 square meters. In addition to the exhibition, a supporting specialist forum will also take place.
