EuroBLECH 2020, the 26th International Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibition, takes place from 27 – 30 October 2020 at the Hanover Exhibition Grounds in Germany. EuroBLECH 2018, the 25th International Sheet Metal Working Technology Exhibition, will open its doors tomorrow at the Hanover Exhibition Centre in Germany. Until Friday, the 26th October 2018, a total of 1,507 exhibitors from 40 countries will present the latest technologies along the entire sheet metal processing chain. With a net exhibition space of 89,875 square metres, this year’s EuroBLECH has further grown in exhibition space by 2,000 square metres, compared to the last event in 2016.
Near Chicago, Bystronic is building an advanced Experience Center. Here, visitors will be able to experience the “smart factory” for sheet metal processing. Bystronic will thus demonstrate live how sheet metal products are manufactured in the age of automation, digital networking, and intelligent services. With the groundbreaking ceremony, the construction phase has now begun and will be completed by the summer of 2019.
For the third time, outstanding organisations and companies in the sheet metal working industry are invited to enter the EuroBLECH 2018 online competition in five categories, now open at https://www.euroblech.com/2018/english/awards/. Recognition will be given for best practice, innovation, excellence and outstanding performance. Five winners, one in each category, will be selected by professionals in the sheet metal working industry via an online voting, starting in September.
